Nobody Ever Looks Up

While walking through the streets of downtown eastside, my boss used to tell me that people miss a lot by never looking up, by walking too fast, by simply not paying attention. Although this may be considered as the “ghetto”, what people don’t know is, this is where majority of local art thrives. Galleries lining up in almost every block, street art in every corner, performances and exhibits every week, every month. So I tell my friends, look, look up! And like me they see this world in a new light.
