19th of April
I didn't have the keys to our apartment, so I ended up walking back to the bus stop to kill time. This way or that? Where should I go? In retrospect I realize that there would come a time when I would envy the state I was in. What a good life, the only dilemma I had was which bus to take, as if I had all the time in the world to go on a leisurely ride through the city. Should I go north to the Donair store? Or East to McDonald's? What Should I get? A Double Cheeseburger, a McDouble and a Junior Chicken! Oh and maybe a pomegranate smoothie too.
I stop a few steps away from two people, as we were waiting on the bus I could overhear snippets of their conversations. "She's so angry, I was with her last friday and I thought we were fine and all of a sudden she texts me crappy messages". "She thinks about things and it pisses her off, that's why". "I can't go around waiting for her to be fine, I've got to live my life."
Oh, I'm not the only psychotic lover, good to know.
The bus arrives and we hop in, my stop is only a few minutes away. Someone presses the stop button and I get off. I walk and stop beside London Drugs, look at McDonald's and sigh. Like most girls my age, I worry about my weight. I turn my back to McDonald's and head to London Drugs.
I end up in their video section, the kindly salesman asks me what I'm looking for. "Tripods", I had two choices in my price range. I tell him I'll think about it and walk off to the grocery section. The icecream's on sale, the yogurt's on sale, the tea is on sale. I roll my tongue to my left and right cheek while mentally saying "eeni, meenie, minie, moe".
I go back to the video section and say "I'll take the cheaper one."
