Sunny Days and Pretty Flowers

Mr. Wu used to say that the reason people were pretty in their present life was because they offered flowers to the temple in their past life. 

We bought flowers for Mama. They smelled heavenly, and so when mama entered the room we weren't able to keep it as a surprise because the scent lingered in the hallway. 

The flowers being sold at the mall were 100x more expensive than the ones in our neighbourhood shops, we had a difficult time choosing but in the end we bought these pretty pink and yellow flowers because of their pale (and almost) retro-ish colour.
