Roadtrip: Laguna

We went to Laguna for an annual family reunion on my grandma's side. Laguna is famous for its pools and hot springs. For someone living in an archipelago, we are pretty much landlocked where we are.

It was really hot, the only trees in the area were the palm trees that were part of the landscape. The resort was perfect for intimate gatherings. The entire place had been rented for the family gathering so we had the pools all to ourselves.

I don't have much to say about how the reunion went. I loved the bar area, with its retro 60's-70s style. I also enjoyed the company of my cousins and the detour we took to the grocery to stock up on munchies for the road. Anyway, it was a hot sunny day reminiscent of summers here.
